The focus of this team is to support the ministry of Whosoever Gospel Mission in Philadelphia by providing quality eye care services to homeless men in their resident program.
Team members will support GFV optometrists by registering patients, taking medical history and vital signs, visual acuity testing, conducting auto refraction & optical imaging, dispensing readers and other similar services.
Our team is open to individuals who are fully vaccinated and desire to serve and make a difference in the lives of others. No medical background or experience necessary. Mandatory training will be held on Sunday, January 12, 12:30 - 5 PM. A voluntary contribution of $25 per person is suggested to cover the costs of food and other consumables for this clinic.
The team will be selected after the December 29, 2024 application deadline and will be reviewed on a first come first served basis, however, priority will be given to optometrists, opticians and individuals with a medical background.

Team members will support GFV optometrists by registering patients, taking medical history and vital signs, visual acuity testing, conducting auto refraction & optical imaging, dispensing readers and other similar services.
Our team is open to individuals who are fully vaccinated and desire to serve and make a difference in the lives of others. Preference is given to Spanish speakers. No medical background or experience is necessary. Mandatory training will be held on Sunday, March 2, 12:30 - 5 PM. A voluntary gift of any amount is suggested to help cover the costs of food and other consumables for this clinic.
The team will be selected after the February 2, 2025 application deadline and will be reviewed on a first come first served basis, however, priority will be given to optometrists, opticians and individuals with a medical background.
