In-person eye clinics restarted at Whosoever Gospel Mission
On Saturday, July 31, we were able to restart in-person clinics at Whosoever Gospel Mission in the Germantown section of Philadelphia with a team of 15 volunteers complete with masks and hand sanitizer.
The youngest, 11-year-old Charlotte, enthusiastically served as the Dr’s helper while her mother Christina, kept things moving in her Patient Coordinator role.
Thank you to our volunteers Karen S, Ruth, Mui, Rhonda, Karen E, Billy, Brad, Charmaine, Bennie, Dr Donna, Charlotte, Christina, Leon and Paige who assisted me and who did a wonderful job ensuring that the men were properly cared for.
Shout out to Heather Rice and her team for the amazing work they do day in and day out in providing compassionate care for the men.
A special thank you to Versant Health, James Geraghty and his team for their good citizenship and positive impact on the community with their support and contribution of eyeglasses.
